Malakoff Kowalski
Malakoff Kowalski, born 1979 in Boston, USA. “What I know: My parents were born in Tehran, I was born in Boston, I grew up in Hamburg and I now live in Berlin. I love nothing as much as music. Everything else is question marks, exclamation marks, dashes.” This is how the musician Malakoff Kowalski describes himself. His work includes studio albums, theatre and film compositions. Most recently, he released the album Songs With Words, on which he pairs sung poems by Allen Ginsberg with classical piano pieces played by Igor Levit, Johanna Summer and Chilly Gonzales.
