Ulrich Schreiber
Ulrich Schreiber, born in 1951 in Solingen, is a German cultural manager. He is the founder and, until 2023, was the director of the international literature festival berlin (ilb). In 2015, together with Hans Ruprecht, he founded the international literature festival odessa, which, due to the war, has been held abroad since 2023, most recently in Krakow in 2025. Schreiber was a co-initiator of the PEN World Voices Festival in New York as well as a literature festival in Mumbai. Since 2006, he has also organized Worldwide Readings and Screenings on political issues. In recognition of his contributions to the promotion of the arts and literature, Schreiber was named a “Chevalier” of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture in 2015.

Hugo Scheubel
Hugo Scheubel, born in 1999 in Mulhouse, is a French writer, filmmaker, and cultural organization assistant. He studied literature and politics at King’s College London and Sciences Po in Paris. He is currently studying film at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). Since 2023, he has been supporting Ulrich Schreiber in organizing literature festivals.

Nathalie Ivandic
Nathalie Ivandic, born in 1997 in Leipzig, is a German cultural professional. She studied Romance Studies with a focus on Portuguese and Spanish at the University of Leipzig, concentrating in particular on the work of the Portuguese writer José Saramago. She worked for the Goethe-Institut in Lisbon and, since November 2024, has been working for Bebelplatz e.V., where she assists in organizing literary events. She has been living in Portugal since 2021.

Oana Lapadatu
Oana Lapadatu is a cultural manager specializing in interdisciplinary projects in the fields of music, visual arts, architecture, and digital media. Her interests lie in innovative formats, international exchange, and contemporary cultural mediation. She holds an academic background in communication studies and philosophy, with a focus on German cultural studies. She studied at the University of Bucharest and was an ÖAD scholarship holder during a research stay at the University of Vienna. She has initiated and led extensive projects in the field of contemporary opera with a social focus, and has realized interdisciplinary art projects in collaboration with multicultural teams. She is currently working at the Goethe-Institut Bucharest.

Oana Boca Stănescu
Oana Boca Stănescu, cultural manager and communications consultant, has over 20 years of experience in the publishing industry. For nine years, she worked as a brand manager at one of Romania’s leading publishing houses. In 2012, she founded Headsome Communication, the first Romanian agency dedicated to promoting reading. She has led campaigns for Romanian and international cultural institutions and co-founded two international literary festivals in Bucharest and Timișoara. In 2021, she became a communications and marketing expert for the project “Timișoara 2023 – European Capital of Culture.” In 2023, she served as director of the National Book Centre and contributed to the “Statute of the Professional Cultural Worker.” She has been honored with the Silver (2009) and Gold (2022) Awards for Excellence at the Romanian PR Award.
