Seid Serdarević

Seid Serdarević (1970) is the co-founder and publisher of the publishing house Fraktura. He has edited more than 700 books written by both domestic and foreign authors, both fiction and non-fiction, many of which have won numerous awards. In 2007, he won the Kiklop Prize for editor of the year in Croatia. He attended a number of professional editors’ and publishers’ fellowships across Europe and the world. He is also working as an organiser, editor and Artistic Director of various literary events, as well as giving lectures on editing and publishing. Since 2013, he has been the founder and artistic director of the Festival of World Literature, one of the major literary festivals in the region. He has been awarded the Chevalier des Arts at Lettres honour, and the Order of Isabella the Catholic for his contributions to the international visibility of French and Spanish literature, respectively.
