Frank Buchwald, Volkstheater Rostock

Frank Buchwald attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 1989 to 1993 and has worked at the Staatstheater Schwerin, the Volkstheater Rostock, the Bad Hersfeld Festival, the Berliner Ensemble and the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, among others. He has been a permanent member of the ensemble in Rostock again since the 2018/19 season. Here, he is particularly popular with audiences for his challenging roles, such as Antonio Salieri in “Amadeus” or the music programme “Merci, Chérie” with hits by Udo Jürgens.
