Adrian Christescu

Adrian Christescu (born in 1968 in Târgu Mureș) is a writer, publisher, entrepreneur and former journalist. He studied hydrotechnical engineering in Iași and law, later working in business and contributing to the press. He writes prose, drama and thrillers, with an interest in memory, contemporary society and the post-communist experience. He is President of Lebăda Neagră Publishing House in Iași, an independent press with a diverse catalogue of Romanian and international literature. He has also translated literary works from Hungarian. His debut volume, The Trophy, received the prose debut prize at the Iași International Book Fair.
