Alexandru Corduneanu

Alexandru Corduneanu (born 5 December 1953 in Dănceni, Ialoveni) is a poet, journalist and cultural activist. He graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of Chișinău in 1975. Beyond his literary work, his activity is closely connected with the urban memory, identity and built heritage of Chișinău. He coordinated the Identitățile Chișinăului project and publication series, bringing together researchers, historians and cultural figures to explore the capital’s multiple histories. Through poetry, journalism and civic initiatives, he promotes the preservation and interpretation of the city’s cultural heritage.
