
Nestan Nene Kvinikadze
Nestan Nene Kvinikadze (born 5 June 1980 in Tbilisi) is a Georgian writer, screenwriter, journalist, television presenter and cultural activist. She graduated from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University and published her first book at the age of eighteen. She is the author of several prose collections, novels, screenplays and plays. Her writing addresses memory, social transformation, urban life and women’s experience in contemporary Georgia. Her novel Nightingales of Isfahan was translated into German, while 38, 44, published in 2019, quickly became a bestseller in Georgia.
