Christian Lund

Christian Lund, born on 28 November 1969, is a Danish literary scholar, curator and festival director. He holds a cand.phil. degree in comparative literature and is a graduate of Forfatterskolen, the renowned writers’ school in Copenhagen. His academic thesis focused on Paul Celan. He has been editor of culture at the important Information Daily newspaper in Copenhagen and at the National Danish Broadcasting corporation in radio and television. He has edited several books of literary criticism. He is the founder and director of Louisiana Literature, the international literary festival held annually since 2010 at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, Denmark. In 2012, he also co-founded Louisiana Channel, where he works as an editor, conducting and producing interviews with internationally acclaimed writers and artists. In 2023, he and Marc-Christoph Wagner jointly received the N. L. Høyen Medal for developing Louisiana Channel into a major international platform for communicating art and culture. He also serves on the advisory board of the Ulay Foundation.
