Claudia Partole

Claudia Partole (born 14 June 1955 in Cotova, Drochia) is a Moldovan poet, prose writer, essayist, playwright and journalist. She graduated in Journalism from the Faculty of Philology at Moldova State University in 1977. She writes for both adults and children, and her work encompasses poetry, prose, drama and journalism. She is a member of the Writers’ Union of Moldova, the Writers’ Union of Romania and the Journalists’ Union of Moldova. She has received numerous literary distinctions, including prizes at the International Book Fair for Children and Young Adults.
