Fiona Razvi is Co-founder and Festival Director of Wimbledon BookFest, one of the UK’sleading community-based literary festivals. Following a career in magazine and bookpublishing, she co-founded the festival in 2006 and has led its growth into a nationallyrecognised cultural organisation with an international outlook.Wimbledon BookFest presents leading international authors alongside emerging voices,creating an inclusive programme that champions literary excellence while widening access tobooks, ideas and culture. Community engagement is central to its mission through year-roundinitiatives including the Big Read, a shared reading programme for adults and schools, andan education programme working with more than 150 schools.The festival’s international partnerships continue to grow. It is now in its fourth year ofcollaboration with the Lahore Literature Festival, celebrating South Asian writers andstrengthening cultural exchange between the UK and Pakistan. In 2025, it also launched apartnership with the Seoul WOW Festival, exploring the global influence of Korean cultureand fostering new literary collaborations between the UK and South Korea.Fiona is a passionate advocate for the power of literary festivals to connect communities,promote dialogue across cultures, and inspire creativity through literature.
