
Cătălin Ștefănescu
Cătălin Ștefănescu (born in 1968 in Râmnicu Vâlcea) is a television journalist, cultural interviewer, documentary producer and playwright. He graduated from the Faculty of Letters of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca with a thesis on ancient Greek theatre. Since 1999 he has created and hosted Garantat 100%, one of the longest-running cultural programmes on Romanian public television. He has produced award-winning documentaries and reports, written for Dilema veche and taught storytelling and visual narrative at the Faculty of Theatre and Film in Cluj. He is a member of UNITER and the International Association of Theatre Critics, and his dramatic texts have been staged in Romnian theatres.
